Just Don't Tell - 2

Everyone in Johnny’s - and everyone who wasn’t - knew that Ueda Tatsuya was a bit of a Gackt fan. Or, as most would put it, he was simply obsessed. The rest of KAT-TUN had stopped making jokes about him long ago, so, apart from NEWS’ Nishikido Ryo, most people didn’t bother him about it.
That is, until Jin was bored one day and suddenly remembered.
“TAT-CHAN!” Ueda almost got a heart attack when Jin suddenly grabbed him from behind before practise. “Guess what?” The boy turned to face the other with an irritated frown.
“Whatever it is, is it worth jumping people from behind for?” Jin grinned from ear to ear. Ueda noticed he was holding a flyer behind his back, trying to hide it, but obviously failing.
“Not people, you!” Jin shoved the flyer into his bandmate’s face. “Guess who’s going to give a concert on your day off!” He suddenly giggled madly, making Ueda take a few steps back.
“I know Gackt is, Bakanishi. Why do you think I asked for a day off?” He rolled his eyes and wanted to walk away, the flyer carefully held between his delicate fingers so the picture wouldn’t get damaged. Well, not anymore than it already was from the way Jin treated it.
“But Tat-chan, aren’t you all lovely-dovely now? You’re going to see your precious Gackt-sama!” Ueda groaned and entered the practise room. It’s going to be one of those days, he thought.
“Lovely-what? Jin, is that even Japanese?”
“Sure it is! It’s what you feel when you’re in looove~” With a dramatic move, Jin twirled past his friend.
“I’m not in love! I don’t even know the guy!” Jin stopped and seemed to think for a moment. Then he gasped.
“Oh, but why don’t you meet him then?” He pulled Ueda towards a couch and pushed him down before he could complain. “You’re a member of the super-famous KAT-TUN! Surely that’s enough for even a fanboy like yourself to meet your True Love!” Ueda huffed and would’ve made a very rude remark if Kame hadn’t distracted Jin by holding a pack of meaty American snacks in front of his face.
“Ooohh!” the boy exclaimed and launched himself at the food, momentarily forgetting all about Ueda and Gackt. Kame grinned.
“You owe me.” He laughed when he saw his bandmate cringe. “Oh, don’t worry love, it won’t be anything bad…” He paused for a moment. “Of course, I know! Oh, that‘s just perfect…”
“…What?” Ueda asked with a hesitating voice. Kame just grinned.
“Oh no, no, no love, we can’t have you know right away! You’ll find out in time. Don’t worry your pretty little head over it, just let your leader take care of everything~” Ueda pouted.
“Hey, I’m supposed to be the leader here!” He looked up to see Kame glare at him.
“Did you forget the Gackt-cover incident?” Ueda shook his head with a defeated sigh. “Good. Then let me handle KAT-TUN. You just figure out what to wear when you’re meeting Gackt this Saturday.”
Ueda made a very high pitched sound, started blabbering incoherently, and fainted.
